hello, new to this. i followed everything word for word on

but it runs the patcher, replaces the files to the LiveEQ files, and when i get to the login screen it crashes. it says something about c++ buffer overrun or something.

any help would be great, thanks.

If it patches to live every time you run the program then you didn't create the shortcut and use it like the guide said. And to fix it crashing on login download http://www.eqemulator.net/eqhost.txt and set it to read only.

i fixed the patch problem. the quotations we're messed up...

but the eqhost.txt file is same as it's been. still doesn't work.

well i finally got it working. i had to reinstall some other files, guess they were currupted. ~
