Problem with Win ME
 

Hey Guys, I was trying to log on up at my brothers, he's running a newer comp with far better stats then mine - that was just to let yall know. But anyways, I tried to connect, not run a server, just log onto Eros or Hogiebane, and it would start loading, and when it gets to "Finished Loading World" it boots outta EQW. Yall have any ideas whats Wrong?

Well I have absolutely no clue what your problem is !

Maby if you elaborated a little on your problem and pasted your ini and bat settings (mask the PASSWORD for mysql).

Actually I had this problem too.

I changed the eqhost.txt(yes I changed it right) file and ran eqgame.exe patchme(yes I know how to do this right)
it logged in great, started to load then boom back to the server select screen. I didn't spend much time...actually none at all, but anyway I'm wondering if there is maybe a problem with win ME? *shrug* works fine on my win98. :)

was thinking....does winME have a firewall in it?

Dont use eqgame patchme. USE EQW

No offense, but I've found that EQW typically sucks.. But it is nice in that it uses alot less resources and lets you ALT-TAB around.. I still like fullscreen better though..

eqgame.exe patchme has been much more stable for me..

Try one, if it doesnt work, try the other. If neither work... SOL...
