Will the EQEmulator be working again from the EQlive patch?
 

For those of us that did indeed patch to EQlive and still arent able to use the emulator it is quite fustrating for everyone.
I just want a clearly stated answer like many we are wondering when will a fix for this be ready? And do the people currently working on it need assistance? If so, please contact others for help.

As a whole mini community it is best to communicate to everyone to let them know what is going on. Instead of complaining and flaming angry comments to each other. There has been some great work done also at the other emulator. Is it possible to join forces with them to combine or maybe work on a new form of a emulator?

It can be anytime from 1 hour from now to 10 years from now.


SOE is continuing to have patches that break the EMU before the previous ones are fixed, there is no way to tell how long it will take people who do this part time for free to acomplish fixing what SOE broke.


Most time its weeks I have seen it take months one time, and i am sorry but if you cant play cause you patched i cant feel bad for you cause its stated everywhere to make a backup EQ folder, if your new, sorry you came at a bad time be patient and it will get fixed eventualy.

Well. my friend patched live on the 16th and is playing right now...


he patched live, patched with scorpious2k patcher then with COE patcher and is able to play.. Don't know if it will work for you, but it's worth a shot.

Thats because the CoE patcher and WR patcher both replace ALL files in your directory with their version like the Sony patcher does. because of this they are much less legal and shouldn't be discussed here. Leave that for their sites so if they are sued, only they are sued.
