why only 4 servers? is this all there is?
 

I am able to log in finally but I am only seeing 4 servers. the two in green I cant log into and the one with version 0.5.5 i can but its kinda lame and can only use the #zone command and no one plays it. arent there more servers than this?

You might have the old eqhost.txt file loaded. I accidently did this the other day. Open it up and ensure it says:

the following is all I get. the yellow are are the only ones i can attempt to log into and one is locked

when I put just that into the eqhost file it says I dont have a host file

can someone either print screen theres or copy paste exactly what I am suppose to have in mine? it states at the top of this website that there is 20+ servers up and I am just not seeing them.

There are 2 logins. The one you are running is the old one and only the servers with earlier patches are using that one. All the servers combatible with more recent patches are using the new login. By the sounds of it, you have an older version and will only be able to use the older login.

You quoted what is supposed to be in it in your previous post... You can't use it though because you don't have a compatible version.....

Correct, the version of EQ you are running does not support the new host format...

are u using winters roar patch?

well on a new patched version using the scorpious2k patch, it lets me see alot of servers and click to play one. it will then go through the loading process and getting all th way done to the pont it says loading world complete then gives a pop up stating that eqgame have crashed. is the crash a result of the newest patch?

well I just tried the wrpatch and this time it let me get to the character select screen. I was in the process of making a character and picked class and apearance and such and then clicked next to goto the page where you can choose your name and got the crashed message again

You could probably play winters roar when its not locked or down. A lot of people play it and you can patch to it if you aciddentley patched.

I have heard this is incorrect. I think the last patch broke the CoE, Scorpious2k and WR Patchers, but I'm not certain. Thats just what ive heard.
