Please help--This is weird
 

I am a winter roar player. I have been able to log in without any problems for 3 weeks now (except when the login servers were down). No problems

Then today i run wr patcher and it says username pass not accepted.

Now the day prior i changed my pass on this site (eq mu) because i thought i had the wrong one or something when in fact it was just the login servers. Later i got on so no probs

Then out of the blue today I try and get on like i said above and it says username pass not accepted at the wrpatcher screen. So then i figure hey ill go to www.wintersroar.com and make a post or email someone .

Weirdest thing happens. I can get on any website on the planet but that one gives me the blank page like the website is down. I ask someone else to check and they can all get on it.

How would i ever be blocked from a website? So now it stands, my wrpatcher has some sort of bad username and pass i cant change, I cant get on wintersroar.com to ask for help and typically i use their link to get on irc but since i cant go to website i cant ask for help. ANY HELP or ideas would be apprciated. Melwin or wiz if your reading, my email addy is chris103@cox.net

You're password is on the login server for EQEmu. It is different than your forum password. There is a link on the left side of the front page of this site to change your login server password.

I thought they didnt have to be the same. Even so, why would that stop me from visiting a simple website.

This is not a matter of not being able to login to the website, i cant even view it.

no one knowwwwwss... (ghostley voices talk to you in your head) maybe "they" know

you dont need to run the WR patcher every time you run eq...you can make a shortcut.

so even if the WR patcher is saying pass/username is wrong you should still be able to play.
i also play on WR (im in Impact as well actually lol :P Xask/Jarlaxle hehe) and i have had this happen to me when trying to run the patcher so i just run it from a shortcut

Try entering the numerics of your password with the numbers up of the letters on the leyboard, and not with the numeric pad maybe ;)
