Effect Bugs on Items
 
Hello

I've noticed while playing on a few servers that Haste and HP/Mana regen effects on items does not work when the effect says like Haste: 36% or HP Regeneration: +15, but the (old) haste, HP, Mana regeneration seems to work on items with old i mean effects which says like Effect: Flowing Thought 3 or Effect: (Haste) or regeneration maybe and such.

I have also noticed that some clickys are bugged, It says they proc in combat when they're only equip able in Ammo etc or not equip able at all.. Potion of Insight for an example or Da Oogly Stick

Hope this wasnt any known buggs, and sorry for the bad english :oops:

The first part(hpregen/manaregen/haste/etc) not working is due to a change in how items work basically for EQLive, which means the EQEmu has to have code adapted for the new item structure(the actual item struct and changes to database side are in, just no code supports the new fields yet). The second part is a database issue and should be looked at by the serverop.

No the second part is not a serverop issue.

The items in the database are marked as procing in combat but do not. It's all built into the items db from eqemu.

No, what he's saying is a db issue. reread it, he's saying potions that you RIGHT CLICK are listed as combat.

No you re-read.

he says Da Ooguly Stick. which is not a potion. It has a illusion troll on it and says its combat proc. but it doesnt work. There are a lot of items in the ITEMS dump like this.

bottom line they are items in the item dump, not custom things created by the serverop.
