What does this mean, can I fix it?

The latest patch is not compatible with the Emu servers. There is no fix for it. You need to wait until the servers are updated.

This is with a completely seperate EQ folder ...

if it patched to live after july 14th then it will not work

It doesnt matter if its a seperate directory.... if you patched to live past the 22nd of june you are screwed. sorry

true bbum, scorpious2k patch will get it to work, so use that.. thats my advise... and my 2cents

sup.. im new to EQEmu, how long does it take for EQEMu to sync with the current patch?

could take a week...could take months.. could take over a year! :D

I really wish that the project would go back to the standpoint of banning anyone who asked for patch files, or recommended them to people. It's seemed to be a little more leniant in the past few months (actually, about a year now) and the people asking for and recommending the patch files are becomming far more numerous.

bbum saying for someone to pm him with a link to the patcher is like bbum saying for someone to drive to his house and shoot him in the head......sure...its illegal....(Well only if you get caught)....i dont see the big issue...if someone does it its on their own accord...not eqemus...nor bbums.....im not picking sides nor saying who is right or wrong..just saying this crap is ridiculous...its sad that a forum has to treat its posters like babies....a telephone company is not held responsible when terrorists or other criminals communicate and devise over their phone lines and continue to break the law...but if a member of the forum directs the words patch, download, or files, to another person regarding everquest....it could topple this whole project..........crazy world.....can a brotha get some emu :wink:

As of August 11th, 2004 patch, Scorp2k patch does not work to backpatch. Tested it myself. Wait for the new EQEmu, 'nuff said.
