Account Dilemma
 

Alright, so I have an account for EQEmulator forums and a login account... and i'm able to change my login account Username and Password without a problem, but when I try and login it says invalid password/username. I have to be using the right pass/user otherwise it won't let me change it back and forth on the "Change Login" page. Anyone have any clue what's going on?

Alright, i've created 3 seperate Login Accounts, and a seperate forum account, and none of them work. I figure this problem has to be with my side, but I have no clue as to what.... if someone could do be a huuuge huge favor and just create a working account for me, and I can then change it to my info?

Also, has anyone been able to create a working account today? I ran into another person who had this same problem. I even had him try my login/password and he couldn't log in either.

For the record, I'm having the same problem. One account works fine, but a different account won't let me log in.

I am going to ask a stupid question here, but its worth asking.

Are you getting this error when trying to log into the eqemu login server? and if so, are you sure you have your eqhost.txt set correctly? becuase if you are using the login accout on SoE login server, its not going to work.

Stupid question, yes, but it has happened in the past more than once.

I have and am currently able to play on one account on WR... I don't think i'd be able to play at all if my system wasn't setup corrently.

I am having the same issue. I created 2 diff logins and neither of them work for logging into the server. Always get bad username/password error.

got mine working. changed my eqhost.txt file to...

you guys cant play with your version of eq, use wr's patch thing.

and its the server youll probly end up on anyway unless you want non legit.

this is the old everquest server setup, the new one looks like
thisno changing yours won't fix it, you have a client that is to old to play on the current release, you can try s2k's patcher ppl have said they have had the best results with his. otherwise your kind of SoL for the moment.

doing the change Natty suggested worked for me.
