If I read the artical correctly, each date was drawn randomly and then assigned a number. For instance, they drew the number '234' and assigned it draft number 'one'. So you don't know if you were on the first flight or the last flight.

Yes they drew each day of the year and gave them a number then # 1 went first then #2 ect till 195.............so 1-195 went and 196 and above didnt go.

Not the way your describing your going one step to far......they took Sept 6 and gave it #6 so I would have been the 6th draft called

No, They assigned a DRAFT number to EACH randomly selected date they drew. So September 6th could have been 2, or it could have been 320.

ahh you know what, Nevermind.. I didn't even see the thing on the side that gives you the number. (I usually just see them as advertisements and ignore them.) So nevermind.

And not just ANY number the actual number they used in the draft.

Anyone get less than me (002) yet??
