Cannot log into the server

I have read the manua, done the search, look older posts where it tells me that I have to get some files (that I already had) but the problem is the followent and I cannot solve it:
When I try to log into the server (I put name and password) the "logging into... please wait" window opens, but then it frozens and nothing happens after.

Any suggestions? Please, I wou

If you patched to live recently without keeping a backup of your EQ folder, you will have to wait till EQEMU becomes compatible with EQLive again.

And how long does it take?
 

Are you speaking of minutes, hours or days?

I just waited till 22 (before that date I got the Timeout error, of course)

Im wondering now, that I have a commercial account in my profile (something like jotmail.com, you know :D ); misteriously I could create the account with that extension, but Im wondering now: is that the problem?
