Final Post on EQEMU. Was fun...Till recently.
 

Goodbye for good everyone. I have had the final straw. After 2 almost 3 years of devotion to eqemu and its members im done. I will not stand herea and take the treatment I have been given the last week by the current developers. This post will probly be locked and deleted. Image left the dev team, wich would be fine. Except 2 seconds later my irc server was delinked and banned from the network. My irc name was suspended from nickserv, And to top it all off my admin here once again removed.

This is total bullshit. I wasnt even fucking arround for 3 days realy to know wtf was going on. I dont care what image did, or said. I am not image. I have never done anything to harm this project. I have done nothing but give. I will not come back to this project till wiz/melwin/LE are all gone. Maybe then I would consider comming back.

Now that was just my treatment. Now ive seen what happened with image, and that is a horror story all on its own, wich i'll leave for him to tell. If they havent banned him. Oh wait, they deleted his account, oops!

Finally, I would like to make everyone realize that the project control was never LethalEncounter's. Image had control of the SourceForge project as Project Manager (which was the source of where this project started). LE took control of the donated server, domain under for his own personal control (which was YOUR donations) and revoked Image's access. So in a sense you are now donating to a rogue group of developers. If they wanted to break off they should have done so without crippling the current EQEMu project (They wanted to break off into their own project, but instead they did so by taking over current parts of the project).

Fairwell EQEMu Sorry to see the fucktards ruin you. The developers talk about everyone having a say. Everyone is supposed to vote what dev gets on the team and who gets booted. I never got such a vote. The current team can talk alot of bullshit but they dont back it. I should be reinstated to full access untill a vote can be held. Image as well since I never saw a vote to remove his access.

None of them have done programming for the project recently, Image started working on getting EQEMu working with live again. He has been a long standing developer, LONG LONG before even lethalencounter and has not only contributed far more but has most likely more knowledge of getting it up to date faster

The only reason that those were taken away was that image could have or gotten access to them. Lethal has since offered your irc link back as long as image doesn't have an ircop and etc.

I have nothing against you dev, and I'm sure thats how the other developers feel. But many of us know how close you and image were. Hell, if its true that you weren't the one that removed SCM, Then image had access to it right? And if thats so, he had access to more than just that.

sounds like someone(people) bitch and get their way... even if it is going to make the project go down... basically they might of just fucked over the entire project just to get their way about one dev...

Image was given SCM access because he is the project administrator (senior to LE). Image had access to SCM and thats it. oh and gimped oper on my server OMG!. As for the offer to relink as I said to doodman, removing image and I was a violation of the " rules " that everyone agreed to abide by. Everyone agreed to vote on issues. Looking at the dev section, I saw no vote for image and I. Great job there make the rules just to break them.

I think its sad that even tuxracer got a vote before he was removed.

Actually, what happened recently was all about getting rid of the powertripping devs like image.

Um, devn00b. Image was removed because when he tried to override a voted decision saying he didn't like voting and wouldn't abide by them, because he was an ADMINISTRATOR, he said he would pull loose from the project and cut everyone's access to Sourceforge and SCM and so on.

Yeah.
