map file creation
 

Hello, was looking to work on Los with my server. I know it uses map files. I would imagine they are placed in the EQemu\map folder. But, my question is, "how do I go about creating them?"

The tools I have at my disposal are G-max and all the 3rd party tools found within these forums. Anyone able to throw me a bone here?

theres an old program floating around called zone2map
it takes in an .scr file exported from zoneconverter.

but, there is a new map system coming, which has a direct s3d->map file converter. it is written and working, but is undergoing a bit of testing.
