Hey i am new, and i still get Timed out error
 

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what to do, i read the forum below that had the same problem and i did what they said in there but it did not work :( any advice is welcomed

if you just want to play , patch to live and then follow the guide of the main page. (You can find it in the news forum too)

i did folllow the instructions, this is my eqhost.txt file

[Registration Servers]

"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]

"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

and it still does not work

[Login Servers]
Host=eqemulator.net:5995

[LoginServer]
Host=xp-smitchell:7308

heres my new eqhost file

delete the last line. Your eqhost only has to say:

[Login Servers]
Host=eqemulator.net:5996

*Note that the last number of the port its a six and not a five.
and be sure you had done the reset authorization, if not, go here.

I did change that to a 6 and i still get timed error and when i go to get to the link that you gave,. it says invaild password and/user name
but i am already register so i do nto know why it would do that

You may already be registered but you have to reset authorization... Visit the news forum and look at the post "Live Compatible Login Servers", for a step by step .....
