IS there a way to get the lifts it gfay to work. BTW im new to all this EQ server stuff but not new to EQ or programing

Not yet but one of our best coders (Daeken] was working on it a few weeks ago..

Did anyone actually test it out to see if that worked? I wasnt about to run one of his executables! LOL

not knowing his story... but why is/was he hated so bad?

I didnt hate him at all, i rather like the little fellow, he's just a bit on the ambitious/overzealous side... He's not a bad kid, but, he is a kid...

He marched in, announced he was going to rewrite the emulator to completely use XML to store data in, instead of a relational database because it was faster.. then he was making an admin tool that was 'about to be released'.. Then, he admited not knowing any C++ whatsoever, but he was going to code in lifts anyway..

Not to mention his rather elegant Mob movement code..

LOL.. It wasnt that bad.. but it was pretty shakey pseduocode..

I think then he insulted image, and that was pretty much the end of the story...lol...

LOL... that looks like some of my super codeing abilites! :-) I just know I have no ambition,and that I suck at programing :-)

XML faster then Mysql database??? /em ponder... Oh yes.. and Java is the answer to all right?
