need help setting up server

Hey there, I'm kinda new here and I'm trying to set up my own server for use with EQEmu. Just got a few questions...

1) Where and how do I get a database to import? I have the EQ Emu Admin Tool, but I don't know how to import the database.

2) How do I create the server? I can join other EQ Emu servers and log in and play on them, but how do I launch my own?

Thanks, and sorry if these questions seem really noobish.

1) Take a look in the 3rd party tools. The admin tool is out of date, but look for a new version in a few days. (also talked about in 3rd party tools)

2) I refer you to the readme, ALL you need is in there.

If you have problems, read the readme again, go through your config again, THEN post back here so we can tell you to read the readme again :)

Also post support questions in win32 support.

still need help!

sorry to bother you all again, but i'm still having trouble. i read the entire readme again, followed all the directions, but still can't figure out how to launch my own server where others can login and play. i know how to use the minilogin, but i'm shooting to run my own server. thanks again, and sorry for the trouble.

The only differance between minilogin and connecting to the login.eqemu.net loginserer is:

in loginserver.ini
loginserver=eqlogin.eqemu.net

And yourIP in both loginserver.ini and boot5zones*.bat MUST be your internet IP (not 10.x.x.x or 192.x.x.x or 127.0.0.1)

Your server should now show up on the list at login.eqemu.net

If you or others have trouble connecting, it is probably an issue with having a firewall or router. If so, search for post regarding this.
