GUI errors

I'm running Redhat Linux 9.0 and am able to run everquest using wine, but when it starts i get the following error:

Error in your GUI XML files. Check your equi.txt file.

Any help with this would be greatly appreaciated

Good luck, ive spent days (in the past) trying to get EQ to run through Wine, and WineX, and all i ended up with was frustration.

If you get it working, let me know. :D
Im not sure what it is about EQ, but it just doesnt work well on linux. I know guys who know a lot more than i do, and they couldnt get it working either.
