Having a problem logging in

Ok, i've made my account: Counterfun... I have my PW: ***********. I've changed my Host file to:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5994 ........ I've made my shortcut with 'patch me' and it works for normal EQ log ins. But here lies my problem... When i go to log in with my EQemu it wont work. The screen seems to freeze on Logging into server. please wait.... How do i fix this?

the new eqhost should be:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Had the same problem. After chaning the port eq crashes when i try to login and and retrieve a server list.

I installed the "EQTrilogy", the file should be around 1 or 2 months old.
