Welcome to the new box
If you are reading this, then you are accessing the site on the new machine.
All essential services have been migrated off of stewie to this new box. Please let me know of any issues you encounter related to the site or loginserver availability. Enjoy. |
This isn't a big issue so please don't laugh, just a lil quirk I noticed. On the front page, the dividers are not there on the left side. When I check the properties on it, it's divider.php is the file that's missing.

Cant change login pw atm says there is some problem with the forum database. thought it would be a big issue, since i cant play using my original pw so others may have the same problem as me.

Weee
I just changed my Servers Box as well :P
from a 1.7ghz 768DDr333 to a 2.1ghz 768DDr333. A small bump but it will make running these servers easier.... World Of Warcraft (1.3.1) Server Ragnarok (Current) Server EqEmu 6.0dr2Perl (PEQ-Velious) Server Neverwinter Nights (1.62 SOU-HOTU-CEP) Server Web Server (Apache, PHP, Perl, MySQL) Server I know its alot for one little machine but I need it all :P |
surfing eqemu.net
Doodman,
http://eqemulator.net/divider.php is missing it's picture icons. http://eqemulator.net/images/email.gif is missing also I know you just moved to a new box so this is just to let you know they are missing. |
Another item I have noticed since the switch to the new box.
Your link to the server list I get the banner portion up top giving mySQL errors. The other part is, well there are no servers showing up now period :/ You can select all to look for online and offline ones and there is none to be listed there. |

1. Dividers fixed. 2. email.gif fixed. 3. Server list fixed. Looking into the loginserver things. |
Changing passwords, etc, should work again now.

Either the server's time or its timezone setting is off. Its timezone is -0500 (Central Time) but if that's what's intended, then it is an hour ahead. This is causing some timestamp issues in IRC.
|
Timestamps are Client side... They use your system's clock.
|
It isn't my client I'm concerned about, it's server-to-server mainly. At the time of writing this message, these are the timestamps on all the servers (done by executing a series of /time servername in rapid succession):
LethalEncounter.eqemulator.net: Monday May 23 2005 -- 11:54 -05:00 (This one is correct for Central Time. I should know -- I'm in Texas with him :D And it seems to be synced up with true USNO time too -- as his clock is right on with my PC's. I would expect no less from a military man :D) irc.eqemulator.net Monday May 23 2005 -- 12:54 -04:00 (So this one's been fixed now. Thanks Dood/FNW/Krusher :D It's an hour ahead of Lethal but it should be cuz this one's on Eastern time - note the -04:00) stewie.eqemulator.net Monday May 23 2005 -- 11:54 -04:00 (11:54 and Eastern time?! WTF?! no.) rogean.eqemulator.net Monday May 23 2005 -- 11:53 -04:00 (11:53 and Eastern time?! no. Also, it might sound petty to nitpick about you being 1 minute off from the rest, but read the FAQ below and you see that even 1 minute off might cause some issues from time to time. Although, until you correct the hour or timezone, in the eyes of some of the servers you are 1h1m off.) services.eqemulator.net Mon May 23 12:54:55 2005 EDT (correct) (stats.eqemulator.net gave no response to a time query) Quote:

Server list broke again :(
|
