So... This is the problem of this newb.
 

Man, I know you guys must be tired of awnsering stupid threads like this... But I am so noob, so pointless... And so desesperated to play in EQEmu! :)

Allright. I've got the EQPlatinum set. I install all the expansions... Then I follow the instructions at the FAQ.

Now, I can't patch to live, because if I do it, I will get a version that's incompatible with EQEmu. I even don't know wich version I have installed! :S. Neither I cannot ask you guys to give me the patch you are using, because that's considered warez and you would get in trouble. And, I've read that maybe it'll take a lot of time for the Devs to make a compatible version with the live one.

So... The only available solution that I see is sit down and wait (and wait... and wait... ) till someday, if i'm still alive, download the compatible version from EQEmu.

I have been researching in this forums for any other solutions... But I haven't been able to find them.

In any case (even if it's very remote) is there any way I can play in EQEmu? Or may I just give up and wait till the next version comes out?

Well here is a silly thought. Just go play on another server while you "sit down and wait (and wait... and wait... ) till someday"

Wich one? Won't you be talking about the official ones.

"official"? Hehehe ummmm pick anyone that seems the most fun to you. They have PvP/Non-PvP/Edited Zones. Just try and find one that still works. Like Fatesdestiny. Which I used to play on it's a good server with a cool Admin.

it work like, kmra, scorpious2K, winter roar and many other without problems with live compatibility :)
Perhaps need to declare requirement with name of servers ? that can help newb ?

Try searching other forums..You may find your solution..
Above all..Stick with it! A little experience is all you need and you will have no problems.

This server have site for help to connect them :) not here.
