When connecting to EQEmu Online servers: Character slection
 

Hi guys quick question, probably something really simple. When I connect to the online servers:

}

I pick several different servers here and when EQ gets to the character selection screen I get weird things like one:

New Character
A
blank
blank
blank
OS
blank

Something weird like that if I create a new character it does not show up on the character selection screen and then I am not able to click on anything but ESC out to the previous server selection menu.

There was one server that I connected to no problem but one out of however many come up on the server list do not work.

Please help!

It is very simple...

Read the stickies on eqemu and the latest patch...

I have read everything and problem still remains.
 

Ok I have read and done searches for the problem that I am having but it has not gone away. I have rechecked my settings twice and still have the same trouble.

You suggested reading the stickys in EQ Emu I have done so and did not find the answer maybe I'm looking int he wrong forum. I have checked under the support and plain EQ Emu which does not get into technical information.

I still experience bad character selection screen, with only one create new character button and then a e> and few more blanks and then os and few more blanks. What exactly is causing this please can you be more specific. I have double checked all my settings.

As far as the mode I'm running I have both trie to host my server using your log in server and running just the plain host file to run off someone else's server and the problem is identical.

I'm running the 0.3.1.1 version of the emulator atm but doubt that would have anything to do with loging on to the servers that are on the eqemu login servers.

Please help me out ancious to give this a try on a server that works properly.

i believe he is trying to say that your problem is rooted in the likeliness that you have recently patched, and the latest eq client is not compatible with the current emu version.
unless you backed up your files, you are stuck waiting for new emu release.
