Are you running your own Server?

If so have you downloaded and placed all the .map files into the maps directory of the server. Doing this fixed the problem for me.

map files

You can go to the www.eqemulator.net main page then, located under the sourceforge category (over to the left of the screen) there will be a "files" button, click there and download the "Download Maps.tar.gz" map package, its kind of big BTW. After you download the map files put them in a file called "Maps" make sure it is an M not m for that file name, put that folder in your eqemu folder (the one with the world.exe and the zone.exe). Hopefully that will solve your problem.

Greetings,

I don't know how .map files interact with this sort of thing, as far as I knew they were just optional files.. spell problems are an issue with your spells_en.txt.. I had problem with mys pells as well just make sure you recopy your spells_en.txt file into your emu folder and it should solve the problem.
