Not working anymore for me, any help ?
 

Hi

Used to be working ok but now it doesn"t work very well.

I can only log onto a server if I run the everquest patch program and once its over go change the eqhost file. If I try to use EqW instead it just crash after the servers selections. If I try using the exe patchme I get error 1017.

I woudn"t mind much except that as soon as VI will patch i'am gonna be screwed :/

I'am using win XP (yes I tried removing the firewall and it didnt work better)
EMU version 0.3.2

Make a directory and copy teh following files into it

eqgame.exe
eqmain.dll
spdat.eff
eqhost.txt
eq_dx8.dll <- something like that
eq_dx7.dll <- something like that

That way if verant patches, you have a really good chance of going back to what works with the emu.


EQW works for me with the 3.2 and the latest patch (win ME and running minilogin) I havn't tried eqgame patchme in a while.

Also are you trying to loginto 3.2 servers?

Ok , thanks for the advice. I'll download EQW again, might be a corrupted version, who know's. I'll work that out.
