Can't connect to port 5994

I cannconnect to server login : [LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5994 i went through and updated EQ and then tried a older version but neither work, any explanation? it just tells me there is no EQHost file when i try to login.

make it 5998.
also maybe open this port in your firewall?
