6.2 server can't find tables

I'm getting "eqdr2.[whatever]" doesn't exist... I've configured MySQL to "GRANT PRIVILEGES ON eqdr2.* TO [my username] IDENTIFIED BY '[my password]' WITH GRANT OPTION;" but to no avail. Can anyone help me?

did you type "use eqdr2" in your mysql?

In your db.ini, is database=eqdr2 ?

I'm very newbie, but I just encountered a similar problem, and did it all over step-by-step ;)
