Patch before 2am pst 9-13-05
 

sony servers are coming down at 2am pst to put in the DoD expansion. this will break eqemu and will not be supported(anytime soon, if at all).

make your backups now, burn to dvd if you can so if you need to reinstall you have it all saved.

Well crap, I just downloaded the EQ Trilogy program last night and installed it today and downloaded most of the expansions, then I find out that the newest patch isnt supported. Crap. And theres no plans to fix this? Damn you Sony!!! Why did you need to patch on 9/13?!?

Well this whole EQ trilogy thing is so screwed up, now that sony is giving away the client for FREE, I don't see why we can't distribute the currently compatible EXE and DLL files, but that is just my 2cp.

Because we are not sony :p

So what, if u download the software or buy it, you have a license to use whatever version of it you want, they only offer the most recent version, but as long as you "own" the software you can get any version you want, even if sony wont give you the files you still have the rights to them.

You have right on them and you can ask to SONY to replace all your files if you lost It.
Because ONLY sony can distribute the files, if you distribute files, you are out the law :)
