GM Events

I searched for a while and saw nothing that could answer my question...

I tried to host a small GM event today. Nothign big, just mummies taking over Oasis. I spawned a lot of them and they went on their merry little way killign the players, however I wanted to make a boss Mummy and take it over so I could kill my players. Couldnt figure out how to do this. I know how to turn myself into other races, but then no one could attack me. Looked all over the GM commands and saw nothing about becoming a Mob. anyone know any tricks to this?

#pvp on
#race <mummy>

That will only allow you to attack other players with the pvp flag on.

There is no command to actually take over and control an npc. You need to make a new character, #name it what you want it called, #permarace it to the race you want, #level it, etc. Turn your gm flag on (#gm on), then use /becomenpc <npcrace>

In my experience that tacks an annoying "Trader" title to your name, though. So, you'll become "Trader Mummy Leader". If you don't like that, you can avoid using /becomenpc, and just make a #damage hotkey to use instead of attacks. But, it wouldn't really be fair, because the players can't attack back. They CAN attack you if you use the /becomenpc command. In short, there's no good way to do what you're trying to do, but I'm with you 100% that we need a better solution.

I don't know how to actually take the form of the monster, or if it is even possible. There is a command however to make an NPC attack a playing character.

That's about the extent of my knowledge lol

I will play with the becomenpc command and see what it does. Thanks for the advice.
