Items to readable format

I wrote an item editor a while back that could do this, but I gave up on it after the new wave of item editors came out that worked with the new DB format. It does have the ability to save all of the named fields from the Item_Struct to a readable text file though (one file per item).

I've a attached a sample of what it's output looks like so you can see if it's any use.

The binaries and VC6 source are at http://www.geocities.com/kaiyodouk/ if you want it. I didn't get a chance to document it at all, but the button you're looking for is 'Save all to text' :)

umm ROFL... dont put the exe on your desktop :) it makes each item into a single text file and now i have 50,000 text files on my desktop ROFL.

gosh that was like pulling teeth =P finally got them off my desktop now lets try empying the recycle bin.

anyway it can auto refence the class race slots instead of numbers? and all to one text file?. Ill pay you like i said. And have it in a table like format:

ID Name Race Class ETC ETC ETC. you get the
id name of item races classes other stuff

in a list and one have id name race class etc etc at the top?


Again im willing to pay or willing to pay windcatcher or wc for the export feature

Heh. I will send WC $25 via PayPal if she makes editing items SOOOO much easier.. Dead serious, here.

1) See an item in editor.. Instead of having to log onto the emu to see what it looks like.

2) Combat procs!!

3) Skill Mods such as 3% Abjure on a emperor robe

4) Recommended Level 60 flags or something.
