Sorry- Another 6.5 Error

Meh, doodmans post helped, problem solved basically, thnx doodman! :D -added: But now it crashes on world.exe when i load the HTTP... Heh...

O.o

What version of mysql?

Doodman 03-03-2006 04:40 PM

0.6.5 does not use db.ini anymore.

Read: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...rConfiguration for how to configure a 0.6.5 server.

Heh I don't feel bad now I was scratching my head over this too at first. Need to put your db info and login info into the eqemu_config.xml file and it will fix that issue.
Read over everthing in the link Doodman posted and you shouldn't have a problem setting it up. Also 6.5 doesn't work with minilogin yet if you want to play alone. But it works great using the public emu loginserver. Well except for the http server still crashes the world but not a big issue for me. :-D

http crashes world for you too?

tallerin 03-03-2006 06:32 PM

yea the http server crashes world.exe when i try using it and gives a MS error window.

MysticDeath 03-03-2006 06:41 PM

hehe, yeah well i have no clue how to fix since no one on IRC is responding, but devs are nice and patient from what i have seen :P and im in no rush even though this http thing looks like a very cool thing (from what i can see in templates :P)

When you edit the original post after a problem is solved, you render the post useless to others who might have the same problem.

This thread is now being closed since it is now useless for solving the oroginal problem. In the future, when your problem is solved, do the rest of the community a favor and leave your original post as is. As to your other problem, it's a separate problem and needs to be in a separate thread. Thank you.
