missing characters
 

I have a problem (of course) ok I had a hard drive it had eq emu folder on it and everything ran fine, then something happened to the hard drive and it didnt work so I decided to unzip a new set of win32 binaries and run them, I saw no characters I said ok, I'll just have to wait until I can get to the datacenter to fix the broken drive, which I did, and I start up the old install of the server and it runs perfectly fine, I login and no characters yet there all listed in the http interface under accounts. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

If you're running with minilogin, it's very dependent on the IP address your login is coming from. If you've changed your IP address in the process of restoring your drive, minilogin will consider you to be coming from a different account.

Watch your world.exe output as you connect to your server to make sure world is treating you as coming from the account you expect.

the ip has not changed and this has never been a minilogon. still dont know.

Are you certain that the new set of binaries you unzipped are the exact same ones that were running before?

they were not, they had been updated

What version were the binaries you were previously running? 0.6.0? 0.6.1?

I was running 0.6.5 then I updated to 0.6.6

If you cannot figure out a way to fix it cna oyu give me a command to remove all of the characters on the accounts without removing the accounts and their status?

You must use a msql editor for that :) like mysql admin and clean table character, character_backup and inventory.
