does anyone have ALL the mapfiles for the vacedude database??
 

does anyone have a complete or mostly complete set of the .maps files that work with cavedudes more complete database most of oow and god and almost all of pop? or can someone point me towards a place to get the mapfiles for the more complete livelike cavedude database??

On that subject is there a way to create the .map files from the zone files themselves? Anyone know of such?

excelent questions, I would indeed like to know of a way to make my own .map files for the zones. Or find a group of complet .map files for oow and pop zones as well as Don, if they are out there I would love to use them. If not oh well I can deal, you guys are doning more then I can seriously ask, it is amazeing to look at the progress made. Some day, a eqemu server that is an exact copy of live will be ready for our greedy hands to minpulate as we see fit.

i happen to just compile a copy of Azone which is used to convert the .s3d to .map ill gladly send it if anyone needs or wants to host or anything.

Educate an emulator newbie...

Does the .map file have all the information for the zone to include mobs, quests, scripted events? Or is just terrain and coordinates?

I would love to get a copy of this program to be able to finish the missing .map files, for my server.

Files in .map contains only information for emulation like agro / sight for spells , etc ... and no database related issue like mobs, quest, quests, etc...
