Removing Pending Server Error :(
Hey guys. Well i just wanted to make a server for me and a few friends in my suburb and i have been following that window 0.7.0 server setup. I have installed Mysql, Perl, Cavedudes Pack, Everquest Titanium and the actual 0.7 binaries. (+The Map Files) As of now i still don't know hw to get everything going. Firstly i click on RunEQemu on the desktop a window pops up and alot of lines show, soon later an EQlauncher.exe window shows and soon goes into sleep mode. The first window is stuck at "telling server to connect to port 7004" Then to fix that i run zone.exe . It completes and goes into sleep mode. Then i run Start MS-DOS batch file. Some more lines appear on the first window from RunEqEmu then lines which say pending server 1 then removing pending server 1 it continues i once got up to pending server 19 i think. This happens with the zones i think because thats what i see near this error. Here is my EQemu_config XML file.
<?xml version="1.0"> <server> <world> <shortname>Biml</shortname> <longname>Biml Kingdom</longname> <!-- Only specify these two if you really think you need to. (read: You don't) --> <!-- <address>192.168.0.5</address> --> <!-- <localaddress>192.168.0.5</localaddress> --> <!-- Loginserver information. Defaults shown --> <loginserver> <host>eqemulator.net</host> <port>5998</port> <account></account> <password></password> </loginserver> <!-- Server status. Defaults shown --> <directories> <!-- <maps>Maps</maps> --> <!-- <quests>quests</quests> --> <!-- <plugins>plugins</plugins> --> </directories> </server> Hope you guys can help me out. Thanks to all replies |
The only problem i see in your config (i'm not familiar with dark rogue installer)
Is the adress ! <!-- <address>192.168.0.5</address> --> <!-- <localaddress>192.168.0.5</localaddress> --> Your adress isn't your localadress But IP adress of your internet connection. You can find it with this site : http://whatismyip.com/ Example: if your ip is 213.123.25.104 you must change line : <!-- <address>213.123.25.104</address> --> <!-- <localaddress>192.168.0.5</localaddress> --> Becarefull if you dont have any FIX ip (ip changing some time) You must use this kind of service : http://www.dyndns.com/ For have a "fake" real ip with a site name. Example: if you choose "mysite.ath.cx" for name, you must change line : <!-- <address>mysite.ath.cx</address> --> <!-- <localaddress>192.168.0.5</localaddress> --> |
