Minilogin Disconnect and user command problems
Hello,
I just started using EQemu and have downloaded EQemu3.3.1 and am trying to run minilogin. I have read the reame.txt and have followed it exactly. This is what I do... -> Run minilogin.exe -> Flag my eqemu login using "world.exe flag eqemu 100" -> Run world.exe -> Wait for it to complete -> Run boot5zones.Win9x.bat -> Wait for all 5 zones to complete -> Run eqw2.22 -> Login Now I am able to login but I can only stay connected for about 10 seconds then I am disconnected. I am using localhost as I should for minilogin but for some reason I cant stay connected to eqemu. Also, I can only use a few commands like '/zone [zonename]' and thats about all really '/goto' says 'you are not awesome enough to use this command' =p and all the other commands say invalid command or something like that. I am running it on Windows Me. I am not using any special DB's yet just the one that comes n the eqemu3.31 zip file. I looked at world.exe file and noticed I am getting a lot of unknown opcode errors and this is what that looks like... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0: 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 Maxclients: -1 Attempting autobootup of 'neriakb' for Samson Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7997 neriakb Enter world: Samson: neriakb Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7997 neriakb Client disconnected Removing client from ip:127.0.0.1 port:1172 Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7997 Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7997 739020 New client from ip: 127.0.0.1 port: 1176 Logged in: Local: eqemu Sending list of guilds Unknown opcode: 0x9221 size:4 0: 20 9C D7 F2 Unknown opcode: 0x9220 size:12 0: 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 Unknown opcode: 0x3521 size:2056 Unknown opcode: 0x3921 size:2056 Unknown opcode: 0x9220 size:12 0: 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 Unknown opcode: 0x2320 size:0 Client disconnected Removing client from ip:127.0.0.1 port:1176 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- So in short I can't stay connected for more than 10 seconds and I can only use '/zone' command and only to certain zones (some say that a safe point could not be found) . (Also, why do all the commands say use '#' not '/'. For me, I can't even type '#'.) If anyone has run into this before I could really use some advice. Thanks in advance. edit: One more thing...here is the info from my Zone 7997 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- Zone server 'neriakb' listening on port:7997 ----------- 592100 New client from ip: 127.0.0.1 port: 1174 Login packet 1 (OP_SetDataRate = 5) Unexpected packet during CLIENT_CONNECTING2: OpCode: 0xe821, size: 4 0: 00 00 A0 40 | ...@ Unexpected packet during CLIENT_CONNECTING2: OpCode: 0xe821, size: 4 0: 00 00 A0 40 | ...@ Login packet 2 Loaded playerprofile for Samson - size: 8244/8244 Loaded alt_adv_table for Samson - size: 256/256 Login packet 3 Zhdr request (Login 4) Sending zonepoints...done Sending objects...done Enterzone complete (Login 5) Sending doorspawns...done Client disconnected: Samson Dropping client: Process=false, ip=127.0.0.1, port=1174 Automatic shutdown Message:----SERVER SHUTDOWN---- Zone shutdown: going to sleep Worldserver connection lost: 127.0.0.1:10275 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
I may have missed it, but I don't recall seeing a minilogin updated to work with the 5-30 EQ patch. But then again you seem to be getting past the login part...
The commands start with # because the client won't pass commands starting with / to the server. You have to enter chat mode before you can type # You have to set you privledge level before you can use more commands, see the readme. |
Yeah I entered chat mode before I typed the '#[command]' but whenever I did that it just says Soanso says "#[command]".
Anyhow I backed up my eqmain.dll file and thats why I was able to log in with minilogin for eqemu3.31. also I did falg my accoutn with user status 100...I read in the readme about that which was one of the steps I took when starting up... Quote:
Thanks for your help so far though. |
You need to have logged in at least once before you flag yourself.
also, the flag accountname 100 will be too low to use ALL commands. you need to flag yourself as 200. and finally, you need to be "flagged" as a GM ingame by typing "#gm on" with yourself targeted. |
Thanks I'll try that :D
