Please
I got 2 questions:
1. When ever i create a player, most of the times i get booted back to the Server Selection screen... does that mean that there is a problem with my computer or just the Emulator. 2. Why is it that every time that i go LD i either get booted back to the server selection screen or back to my desktop?. |
CRAP! sorry Image...wrong Forum.....Won't happen again!

Are you running your own server? on the same machine you play on? If so try running the server on another machine or play on someone elses server. That will help you figure out where the problem lies.

I play on other's servers
|
happened to me today as well
yesterday all was fine( i now created my own server hehe but this bloody win98 crash) HARHAR KILLING MY SOFTWARE WITH WINDOWS) |
You may have too slow of a connection, an the server is timing out. I guess this could also be true for a really slow computer...
The emu version and your client version aren't matched up... Play on the latest emu version servers with your client patched to what was used on the live servers at the time the emu was released. Your trying to play in zones you don't have installed on your client. If you can't get in at all I guess this only applies to Iskar and Kerran?? <-- err the new lucin cats |
hehe i created
barbarians crash halflings crash iksars crash vah shir crash i gave it for today) |
Have you tried different servers?
|
jes i did)
3 or 4 at least i did not even count hehe the servers name was the first appeared at selection naliki |
try making a (full) backup of your eq dir, then patch EQ with full file checking. then replace... eqgame.exe, eqmain.dll, eqgfx_dx8.dll and eqhost.txt from your backup (think those are the ones that break the emu atm) If that does not work, perhaps someone else has an idea. Otherwise try waiting till the next emu is released, then patch eq and try playing.
