Help with EQEMU 7.0 and Titanium Client.

Hi everyone. I am new here and trying to get a local lan server going to no avail. At this point I am not sure what is happening. I followed the how to at: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...indowsServer70 on how to set up a windows server version 7.0 using cavedude's ServerPack 3.52 and all went smooth.

I am using the following:

2 ghz Athalon
756 meg of RAM
Windows 2000 Pro
mySQL 4.1.9
ActivePerl 5.8.7.813

After setting all this up the server started fine. All looked well but the EQ client I had would not connect. So I called around and found a copy of Titanium and went out and bought it and did a fresh install to another location. Well, it still will not connect. Unknown packets. I downloaded the version 7.0 of the server off the website and tried it as well to the same end. When I connect with a titanium client I get the following on the server console:

84312 New client from ip: 192.168.0.40 port: 1060
Unknown packet: .4233692 [92.153.64.0:15->0.0.0.0:0]
[OpCode 0x0003 (OP_Unknown) Size=11]
00000: 00 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00

Then it just hangs and you have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE. At this point I really do need some advice. I have the server seemingly working ok and I am using the client that everyone recommends without having patched to EQ live yet I cannot connect.

What am I missing here? This is my second day of trying to find why. It seems documentation is scarce and disagrees on what works and does not. Also I have downloaded the EQVerCheck version checking tool and it says this:

*** Scan Summary ***
Legacy EQVerCheck Version Strings:
LEQ Version String: EQ61EA436B52DAE106831BDF131E2727A6B8291587
SEQ Version String: SEQB6367

StudyCard was able to identify your SEQ number as being compatible with the Titanium EQEmu Server Releases at the LoginServer eqemulator.net:5998. While a matching SEQ number and server version will usually work, be aware that if you have backpatched to this version, other files in your directory may be out of date which could interrupt normal gameplay.

Documentation is far from scarce on this site. Literally hundreds of posts pertaining to server and client connect problems. You just have to be patient enough to search, search again, and search some more. The Wiki article you used is good, but I think this one is newer:

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...=ws70845mysql5 (I doubt the SQL version is that important)

Here's another one.
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...iniLoginConfig

In fact, lots and lots of stuff appears when I go to the Wiki and search on Minilogin. :)

You can also attempt to setup a public server first, just to see if things are working ok, unless you cannot due to bandwidth limitations.

happens after you have authed to minilogin and its passing your stream to the world.exe server but it sounds like your port 9000 isnt open to recieve the stream. Another thing would be to make sure you have ports 7000-7100 open for the zone.exe program

also try making a copy of the patch_6_2.conf file and renaming it to opcodes.conf

first you will need to rename opcodes.conf to something like old_opcodes.conf

I'm not sure you have to do that, though. Doesn't the world read all 4 opcode files once a client tries to connect? I don't have a copy of my logs here, but I know it tries the 3 client-based opcode files once my IP is detected.
