06-05-02 Patch Breaks Emu!!!

Thats right folks, forget about playing on your favorite EQEmu server if you patched this morning! But we're here to make some suggestions about what you can do while you wait for the development team to use their godly powers to realease the next fix!

1. Find out about this thing called real life.
2. FInd another game to play, EQ is not the only thing in the world.
3. Go see your friend joey that you haven't seen the whole time you've played everquest!
4. Read the EQEmu forums over and over like the zombie you are!

Now that we've given you some solutions we're sure that you won't be stupid enough to beg around for EQ Files, or anything of that nature! Because if you do, you can say goodbye to play EQEmu forever, as we'll ban you from the forums, the site, AND the login server! =D So please, don't be "a Daeken(tm)", and read the rules and most importantly, DON'T GIVE OUT FILES OR REQUEST THEM IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!

We now return you to your regular forums of idiocy and ignorance!

ok....dont ban me for asking this or anything....heh...does thi shappen everytime eq patches? and whats yalls average "fix it" period...:D

asking if its broke wont get you banned. asking for files to unbreak it for yourself will.


few days depending on how bad its broke (lots of packet changes). i think the most was two weeks (thay added some chksum to the end of playerprofile and noone could figure out why lol)

why would patching affect the login servers? I didnt patch my client...ever...unless eqemu tell me too :)

Shouldn't they run the login server like this?
C:\eqemulogin\login.exe patchme
