Crash After Char Select
 

I make my character then i hit enter and then it goes to the everquest screen and then the everquest screen turns a little brighter and crashes------ any ideas why?

you have the current patch which doesnt not work with the emu.

I didnt download the latest patch. I have the patch right before 6-5-02

Look at my post and see if your data matches mine cause I am having the exact same problem except that mine turns darker then crashes hehe.

Im saying when i try to login to some elses server it does this.. im not sure if it does it on minilogin

the color change is due to 5-30 patch

before the gamma select was not effective , now it is but with eqw it will change the gamma of the full screen (not only the eqw window)

I never have made a backup file for EQ, how do you go about doing that? Saving it to a disk and replacing it after a patch?

mmm, have the same error myself, when will there be a patch for this? and which version do you need to play the game correct? i only have the game one day and only have 2 versions, the patched version and the cd version downloaded from everquest website should i use this one?

A new emu that works will be out as soon as they get it working. There is no ETA!

If you want it out faster, learn C++ and help update it to match the changes verant made.
