SoD and EQemu
 

From what I have read I have seen not to patch to "eqlive", i'm pretty sure that means when you start up eq and download everything, but looking at a SoD setup it actually telsl me to patch some expansions. If I can't play eqemu but I can play SoD, i won't make the commitment... Can i go ahead with it or can I not? I'm just not 100% sure and I don't want to screw anything up.

Do this, make a copy of your game install directory (like I do, just in case I accidentally mess things up) and you'll have a rollback 'oh crap I messed up' version to fall back too. It only takes like 4.63 gigs. :)

Then if you mess things up, you can wipe the messed up version and copy in the virgin, clean install.

Ask on SOD, locked before warez comes up
