Possible to change ports?

i'm wondering if it would be possible to change all eqemu ports including zones, world, ect to ports a computer normally uses and would have open/forwarded already.... aka if you want to try to run it from work and they're not going to do port forwarding for you.

Most all of that is in the configuration file, look it up in the wikki if you get the complete configuration file you can change all kinds of stuff that will, 99% of the time, break the emulator.... but have fun and see how it goes is what I always say!

You can change the zone ports but the world port must be 9000 because that is hardcoded into the client.

Btw.: What do you mean by "ports a computer normally uses and would have open/forwarded already"?

The only port I believe you can NOT change is 9000 - Client->World. All zone ports can be set - hence the `port` column in the launcher_zones table.

edit: damn you oldlurker! you beat me to it! ;)

After rereading your question I think you want to do some sort of port forwarding/translation scheme so that you can run a eqemulator server at work.
Unless your companies network administrators are not complete morons you are out of luck. If you try without consent you might risk your job in the process ...
