Different monster types - undead, summoned etc
 
Many spells in EQ only work against certain creature types, eg Ward Undead, Defoliate, Charm Animal etc.
In EQEmu these spells don't work since mobs don't have the flag indicating which type they are, so they
aren't considered a valid target. Is the packet/memory location for this flag known? If so it could be added
as a value in npc_types.
As far as I know the types are Normal,Animal,Plant,Undead and Summoned/Pet. Necromancer/SK pets are considered Undead
rather than Summoned I think (pet buffs say "this spell only works on undead")

Shissar and Lizardman, too.

For the Shissar bane and Lizardman bane weapons.

I think bane damage weapons are based on specific race, rather than general type.
Giant and Dragon are certainly types though. Not sure about Humanoid, is that just the same as "normal"?
I also seem to remember seeing some items and spells that worked on "Extraplanar" creatures.

Humanoid is basically neutral, if theres not: Plant Undead Extra Planar etc (Btw I think Extra Planar means the MOBs in places like Plane of Air Growth Mischief Hate Fear etc) then its Humanoid :)
