IP banning?
 

What needs to be done to IP ban someone from a server? I have done the regular ban but they just make new accounts.

Your a noob....Why dont you know that Your Suppose to be a DB God hahaha... I dont see it.

Unless this has been added very recently, there isn't an in-the-server method to do it unfortunately. All I can suggest is if you have a firewall in front of your server, ban the IP at the firewall.

IN windows you'd have to use a software firewall and block his IP that way to the server.

Let's not gloat over somebody else's ban. It had to happen. It's only for a week (assuming we don't have any more trouble from him once it's over) -- so he can cool down from the things that just happened on a specific server, and not go harassing this community because of them.

I had a nice talk with him in IRC the other day and I'm optimistic that he'll come to realize what he did wrong (either here or on the specific server he was on)... and at the very least he'll either stop harassing this community or go find a different hobby to occupy his time.

So I ask that we not go rubbing this ban in his face please.

It's easy all you have to do is give his account...or accounts a minilogin ip
address of 0.0.0.0 and they won't be able to log in at all if you run a public server...
if that dont work give them a flag of -1 and they cant log in at all either.
