caracter selection screen
 

Greetings everyone,

Got my private server setup with mini login and the patch file.
I can now get to the caracter sellection screen.
Theres a lvl 1 warrior erudite already there
However clicking on create new caracter does nothing
I cannot click on delete caracter ither
and If I click on enter world Eqgame.exe caused a fatal error.

Please help :-)

Soo, its safe to say you really didnt follow any sort of guides from the wiki right? Dont see how you could already have a character in your database if its a new server.

I followed to the letter this

In my 1st post I wrote "Patch" but I wanted to write "batch" sorry :-)

What client do you use? should be a store bought, "Everquest Titanium"

Just got the Aniversary edition for 20$ at EBgames. This is the newest edition, Titanium is older.

That's your problem then - EqEmu only supports a store bought, Titanium edition

I guess ill go pick that up. Uninstall aniversary and install Titanium. Ill write back after to let you know :-).

Hopefully ill be able to go solo some old world bosses this weekend lol. I have some revenge to do on Phinny hehe

Ah well EB boutique doesnt have the titanium edition anymore :-(. Ill install the original cds with Planes of power and shadows of luclin and see if I can create a caracter and login.

Just wondering when I load up the zone.exe
theres text reffering to Anniversary.

Only the Titanium client will work, original CDs and the like won't. Check Ebay, Amazon, etc. Remember, you don't need the key only the CDs so you should be able to find a copy somewhere.

Anniversary edition support at present is very very very limited. Meaning if you're lucky, you can log in, get in-game and run around. Little else works.

Alright so im real happy that i was able to get a copy of titanium.
I removed anniversary and installed titanium. This fixed my issue with me beeing unable to create caracters.

However i have a new problem. After creating a caracter and click on enter world a pop up window says Zone unavailable.

In the dos world window or zone window theres some OP_code about unable to bring up zone.

Ill search for other threads to see if I can fix this :-)
