Particle effects again
 

Didn't know for sure where to put this. But does anyone have knowledge of a list of weapons that have particle effects or know of what setting it is on the weapon that determines the effects. Then could be adjusted in like in EQitems. Any info would be great ty.

Your best bet is to #wc 7 1 and work up from there. There's no documented list of the items, and I forget how to get an item model number from eqg files... unless someone here remembers how to get the model name/number of an item, there's no easy way to find out.

You can also use S3d spy to open a s3d file up and find a model number (IT63, for example)

For example, you can wield the fabled brew barrel by #wc 7 67 and #wc 8 67

This can also be applied to NPCs via the weapon texture fields in the database.

(d_melee_texture1 + d_melee_texture2)

But yeah, guessing is your best bet, as I don't know of a list nor do most people in the community.
