Issues connecting to Login server
 

I am connected through a proxy server that I have no control over and is probably blocking the necessary port to connect to the server. Is there any trick or secret to get around this?

I am unclear if this is for your private server or for you to log into another server? If it is for your own private server, the port you need open for the login server is 5998. Keep in mind the login server was down most of the day yesterday. Everyone was having issues connecting.

No, actually, I cannot get to the server selection screen. I'm sorry for the confusion. And this would simply be to access the server I play on. I am not a developer or host.

You shouldn't need to open any ports to be able to play on a remote server. Just make sure your firewall (if you use one) is set to allow the client access to the internet. It works just exactly the same as if you were playing on a live server.
