Cant get installes
 

I cant make a new login name or open the game with teh eqw.exe, can anyone help and also under the Loginserver.ini what do u put under the worldnames field? :confused:

What are you trying to do, because the answer can vary according to that.

First can you successful run eqw and connect to a login server?

then you have to decide if you want to use the minilogin for a private connection or if you want to have your server accessible through the login server.

Here are the connection routes:
Use only servers from gotfrags server list

eqw->gotfrags Loginserver ->server select>char select
you run: nothing on the server side
you change: eqhost.txt to point to gotfrags
your account: is the gotfrags account name/password

Use only minilogin for your server

your minilogin ->your server>your char select
you run: mysqld, minilogin, world, boot5zones batch
you change: loginserver.ini (if needed) to point to miniserver,
db.ini to point to your mysql db, boot5zones (if needed)
your account: eqemu/eqemu.

Use gotfrags login server and select your server from the server list

eqw-> gotfrags Loginserver->select your server >char select
you run: mysqld, world, boot5zones batch
you change: loginserver.ini to point to gotfrags.
your account: is the gotfras account name/password
