Bump for a friend in need.

This happened to me and a reinstall of Titanium (no patching) fixed it. My Titanium client was completely unpatched, so I'm not sure what caused it in the first place. A fresh in install might help. Good luck.

I do not know if you have tried searching the everquest log files or not, but sometimes that will give you a good idea about what was the last thing done or what the error really is.

Agree'd that a fresh install sometimes is the faster thing to do, rather than trying to play around with it.

Another thing you can try is changing from window mode to full screen, and play around with your screen resolution settings..

same problem as above.
I have 4 working computers to play with here, and everquest runs fine on three of them, however, the fourth - fails every time. Through formats/reinstallations, driver updates, hotfixes, vista/xp OS change.

I dont know what to do, i've never had this problem before i switched to this system. for the other computers i have copied the install directory across the network SMB share, and it ran fine, i do it on this and it fails. I reinstall titanium from disk and it fails.

Might it be a hardware problem?
Conroe E4500 - XFX Geforce 8800 GT - Corsair XMS memory (TWINX) 2gb
(I have a dual-core AMD (x2 6400) and it works fine - even before i applied any hotfixes/patches)

Im dying to play on this computer.
