uh....damn, help me please
 

hey everyone, im new to this, so i Dled a version or something. i unzipped it and i opened it up (or tried to).

i got the box that says StartEQ

when i click it i just get an error

"this program has performed an illegal opperation"

then a

"unable to load eqw.dll"

what do i do? am i even in the right place to open this up? help me please

sounds like you don't have the latest version of eqw, also if you patched 6/5 > then you need to wait for new release or play on hogie bane server.

make sure and unzip all those files into your everquest directory. otherwize you will have a hard time making it work. Also, it could be a corrupted archive. try downloading it again. make sure you get the current version.
