whens next version of eqemu coming out?
 

i just tried using eqemu today after trying the hq emu yesterday and that thing had so many crashes i decided to try this one. i wasnt able to log in after i selected my character and did some reading and found out it was because i had the latest patches. but my question is when is the next version of this emu coming out? i dont know how often you guys update or anything and id like to give this emu a try.

actually before latests patches it was maximum two weeks between two release, with this one its like one month and a half since last update so.. wait and see

Isn't it a relief to know the developers are really taking their time to get this one right though? It is for me

I definitely agree considering my builds never seem to be as stable as the official release, especially since they're on VC6 and I'm using VC7. My only complaint is that we have just about zero status updates until the next release is finished. A simple public status page would be sufficient to end these constant 'next release' topics and in the long run would actually save the dev teams hassles imho. I believe Lyenu said there was one in the works.

I have to agree with ruby, you guys should atleast post things on the news stating your status on completing the next version :) .
