Patching to Live
I've recently installed titantium and followed the directions for EQemu setup. However after entering all the necessary info (eqhost, patchme steps) i double click on the shortcut i made and it goes directly to the global SOE patch server. Afterwards i check and my target box in the shortcut and it still has 'patchme' there; my eqhost file is fine (Host=eqemulator.net:5998). I cant even connect with EQemu! Help! thanks in advance!

First of all vista sucks heheh anyways:
make sure the shortcut discretely says: Code:
"D:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme replacing the drive letter and/or path to yours. As for your eqhost.txt, it should look like this: Code:
[LoginServer] Nick -Server OP- Sleeper's EQClassic Progression Server Website Forums When life hands you a river, build a bridge over it. Don't Judge a Book by its Cover. |
No dupe posting please - I'll merge these for now.

accident. i tried to edit the original and this website wouldn't save correctly the additional text i added (system specs). i looked for the delete post button...

That's ok - we also are not into OS bashing (this can get ugly), so we don't need to continue on that.

lol its all good. vista does suck! :D
|
hehe sorry angelo, no offense all XD
Did those instructions help? |
just a note folks, Vista will not let you save the modified eqhosts.txt unless you are running notepad as an administrator or you have user account control disabled. Good Luck
