Missing MOBS
 

I installed the server and it runs fine, I can log in and everything. However when i wonder around there are no NPC or monsters. Did I miss a step in the installation or is this the way it normally is for a new install?

eqemu doesnt ship with that stuff unless you grab the peq installer.

i installed the peq database when i first installed eqemu, noticed there were no npc or monster, then went to the peq website and grabbed the upgrade only download, installed it, and i still have the same problem. Other ideas?

I get the feeling im missing something simple.

Im guessing it was a database problem, I erased the peq database i had and reinstalled everything using the peq installer, everything is fine now.

SQL Updates
 

Just as an FYI, the 1104 update has a required SQL addition to databases that were released before 1104. Without those two lines of SQL being run against your database, the MOB's won't show up. The PEQ installer no doubt did all of that already. Hope that helps. :D
