3D Graphical Armor not showing on PCs
 

This is has been an issue for quite sometime with me since as long as I can remember. The 3D parts of plate armor for example do not show up on myself or any player characters, however they show up just fine on NPCs. I run a dual core AMD64, 8800GTS, 4GB of RAM, and Vista 64bit. I am currently using that dual core fix, and having the latest drivers for everything. All luclin models are on. If there is a fix for this I am sorry but I searched everywhere and found nothing on this and most people I ask in servers don't have this issue. The EQ I am running is an exact folder copy from someone whos EQ works fine, Ive only adjusted graphical options to match my PC.

Any idea ? Maybe something in the EQClient.ini??

While I myself use the folder copy method for setting up eq on all my home PC's, it is possible to be missing a file or have a corrupt file by doing such. I have from time to time seen friend's computers whom my "folder" doesn't work on or has issues so I just give them the disks to do a fresh install. Step one is always do a fresh install if you are having any client issues. Another thing to look at is that you are running a 64 bit OS and EQ is classified as a legacy game even on 32 bit XP...I have yet to load a 64 bit OS and try EQ, but with how picky it is to run even on a 32 bit OS, especially with dual+ cores...I would lean toward that being an issue.

Ya, that is probably something related to your eqclient.ini config. If I were to guess, I would think it could be with the show velious armor settings. You should try to get a copy of that file from someone or maybe try deleting sections out of it until you get the right one.

I think its a hardware issues like suggested before, because it just randomly fixed itself for one run of the game, when i restarted it was messed up, i changed nothing inbetween. As for a fresh install, I cannot get titanium to install properly on vista it gets stuck on a file and crashing the installer is the only way to get out of it.

I have the same issue,

If i roll my video drivers back to around the time titanium came it it will work.

Only issue is then the other games I play dont.
